XM-13. UNS. S00. Description. 1.4534 / PH 13-8 Mo is a precipitation hardening stainless steel. Special properties. Precipitation hardenable, stainless steel, stress corrosion resistance, high strength up to 315°C. Chemical Composition. C. 13-8 PH STAINLESS STEEL AMS 5629 UNS S0013-8 PH is a martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel. This alloy is double melted in a Vacuum Induction Furnace (VIM) followed by Consumable Electrode Vacuum Melt (CEVM or VAR); or in some cases, 2nd melt is by Electroslag Remelting (ESR) as specified by consumer. It exhibits excellent strength, high hardness, superior toughness, and good corrosion resistance.
